Check out CodePlex.com
By Randy on 5/30/2006 8:32 AM

Check out the new site at www.codeplex.com. This is a new Microsoft Community site to allow developers from around the world to work together on new projects. Leading developers are also posting new applications, web parts, and tools here to promote the growth of .NET. While the site is mainly focused on ASP.NET 2.0, remember that the new WSS and SPS are built on ASP.NET 2.0, so many of the features can be used in your SharePoint sites.

Another neat feature is the ability to create or join a project. This gives you the chance to work with other developer (some of whom are very experienced developers) that you might never have the chance to work with or learn from otherwise.
