Please attend our next Tulsa SharePoint Interest Group meeting on September 10th, 2007!
I've heard it said that SharePoint is not a development platform. I completely disagree and develop software on a daily basis on top of WSS 3.0. This month, we have more proof of what many of us already know: SharePoint is an exciting, extensible platform for building robust applications.
So, read on and show up at this month's meeting if you are interested in SharePoint development!
Location for our meeting:
Oklahoma State University - Tulsa
( OSU - Tulsa )
700 North Greenwood
Tulsa, OK 74106
918-594-8000
(We are in the North Hall room NH 155, first building through the beautiful Courtyard.)
Time: 6-8pm
This month: FanU.com - How We Built It - By the time this meeting rolls around, FanU will be up and running. Come find out how we used SharePoint, Windows Communication Foundation, Service Software Factory and Microsoft's Enterprise Library to build a robust, scalable solution for this community and many more to come.
Steve Walker – Architect and Senior Software Developer, Winner Communications – Steve has been architecting and developing solutions on the Microsoft Stack since 1995 for many companies from the very large to the very small. Steve has a passion for SharePoint as the application development and operations platform of the future. Steve was recently included on the development team for the CKS Project on CodePlex (Community Kit for SharePoint) and looks forward to contributing to that project moving forward.
