A few months ago everything was working fine. PDF files were posted on the site for others to see. Now only the older pdfs posted can be seen, not anything new.

I queried the table alldocs in the database wss_content (sharepoint database). When I searched for the pdf files under each folder I noticed the ones I can see thru the sharepoint web site have a level of 1, the ones I can't see have a level of 255.

Is this a permission issue within sharepoint or SQL 2005 or something else I should look for.
