Hi All,

I can create multiple sites collections using a single Web application for example

Staffportal.mydomain.com/

Staffportal.mydomain.com/sites/hr

Staffportal.mydomain.com/sites/finance

When i create 3 new web apps and add a site collection to each for example

Staffportal.mydomain.com/

financeportal.mydomain.com/

hrportal.mydomain.com/

Then link them together and create navigation for the user (so it appears as one big site to them) but when they cross from one web app to another they get prompted to authenticate again, this doesnt happen when the three site collections are in a single web application, is there a work around to this?
