Hello Forums!
This is my first post on SP - I am pretty new to the technolgy at this point so i need some assitance!
I have created a LIST that is able to recieve documents via Email .. this is working 100% ok.
My problem is - I cannot open the docuemnts when i am NOT logged in as the system account - when i am logged in as my own user account (which is a member of the SP Owners group) i cannot open the documents!!
I guess i need to give my account some permissions on one of the servers on the farm (two at present - a Web front end and a Backend server just running the DB). But i have no idea which folder i need to grant access to ??
Has anyone else had this issue before??
Hope someone out there know WTF the issue is :)

actually i have just seen what the issue is ....
I am working off my network via VPN - and so i access the site via IP address not the DNS name of the server
so the link is https://192.168.233.1:10001: etc etc
but when i click into the document libary the link changes back to the DNSname of the server
https://Servername:10001 etc etc
and as i am on the VPN it will not work as my notebook does not know the DNS name ...
So this is a DNS issue not a SP issue --- but still any input would be good :)
